About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, and deploy integration and automation solutions using C#, .NET, and Azure Functions, Service Bus, Azure SQL, and Azure Web Apps
  • Build custom automations and integrations using APIs, Power Platform, and Blue Prism RPA where appropriate
  • Lead technical discovery for ambiguous initiatives, clarify requirements, identify risks, and define scalable solutions
  • Drive delivery from requirements through design, build, release, and support with minimal oversight
  • Use AI tooling such as GitHub Copilot for coding, debugging, and research
  • Produce technical documentation, including integration diagrams and development and deployment guides
  • Translate business requirements into reliable solutions with data mapping, duplicate prevention, error handling, and retry/idempotency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate enterprise applications including CCH Axcess/XCM, Dynamics 365 CRM, Workday, ServiceNow, and others
  • Apply security, scalability, and performance best practices, including secure data handling and Git versioning in Azure DevOps
  • Monitor solution health through alerts, centralized logs, and dashboard metrics
  • Identify and resolve complex technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance, including post-go-live hypercare

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant/equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience, including demonstrated ownership of solutions from requirements through production
  • Strong hands-on skills in C# and .NET
  • Minimum of 3 years of specific experience with systems integrations using APIs, webhooks, and data integration practices
  • Minimum of 2 years of specific experience with Microsoft Azure, including Functions, Service Bus, Azure SQL, and Azure Web Apps
  • Demonstrated business process improvement and automation experience
  • Fluent, everyday use of AI tools in engineering work
  • Ability to communicate and write clearly in your own voice
  • Ability to ramp quickly on unfamiliar platforms and SaaS tools
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, including Git, pipelines, and work items, and CI/CD practices
  • Working knowledge of PowerShell
  • Exposure to Blue Prism RPA
  • Experience integrating enterprise SaaS platforms such as CCH Axcess/XCM, Dynamics 365 CRM, Workday, Workato, or ServiceNow
  • Familiarity with tax, accounting, or professional services workflows
  • Azure certifications related to integration services
