About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work with clients to understand their objectives and provide comprehensive, robust solutions
  • Ensure high-quality ongoing advice is provided to all clients
  • Undertake focused internal and external business development activity to identify new prospects and convert them to clients
  • Build and maintain technical knowledge relevant to the role
  • Achieve individual revenue targets
  • Maintain a strong network and attend events to develop it further
  • Become an integral part of the Financial Planning Team while serving a ready-made client bank and pursuing future business development opportunities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • A Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (minimum requirement)
  • A Level 6 Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning (desirable)
  • Minimum industry experience of 2 years in an advisory role
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of Business Standards - Conduct of Business (COBS)
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of High Level Standards - Code of Conduct (COCON)
  • Good knowledge and understanding of FCA Money Laundering Section of the System & Controls Sourcebook (SYSC)
  • Basic knowledge of other Accountancy services, including Audit, Tax, Insolvency, Corporate Finance, VAT and Accounting
  • Excellent communication skills, in both verbal and written forms
  • Ability to prioritise workloads under strict deadlines and work well under pressure
  • General IT skills
  • Good attention to detail to ensure reports are compiled to the highest possible quality
