About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work in Arondite’s growing software engineering team during summer 2027
- Work on real-world projects and contribute to meaningful software development
- Learn from experienced engineers in a fast-paced environment
- Work closely with cutting-edge AI and integrate with autonomous systems such as drones
- Collaborate with a software engineering team to solve challenging, mission-critical problems
- Participate in the interview process including CV submission, an introductory Teams call with coding test, and an in-person technical interview
Requirements
What you’ll need- Will be entering the final year of an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or another technical subject in September 2027
- Ambitious builder with extremely strong software engineering skills
- Care about the ethical defence of sovereign democracies
- Want to work closely with cutting-edge AI and integrate with autonomous systems (e.g., drones)
- Want to see your work used with impact in the real-world
- Programming experience in at least one server-side programming language (e.g., Python, C++, Java, or Rust)
- Experience with Git or other version control systems (ideal)
- Personal or academic projects you’re proud of (ideal)
- Existing Right to Work in the UK at the time of application
- Must hold a clearance or be willing to undergo UK security vetting to Security Check (SC) or above; normally requires continuous residency in the UK for at least 5 years
