About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Co-lead investment strategy and execution within Arrived
Manage and grow Arrived’s $400M+ portfolio in equity and credit products across 65,000+ investors
Manage and grow the Investments team across investment leadership, sourcing, acquisitions, asset management, and due diligence
Design innovative investment products with Product and Finance teams
Manage and optimize investment strategy and portfolios across real estate equity, credit, and hybrid products
Develop investment theses, portfolio construction frameworks, risk frameworks, and underwriting standards
Create new products for Arrived’s investors and evaluate markets, asset types, and capital structures
Monitor comparable third-party investments and benchmark performance
Build sourcing channels through brokers, developers, institutions, and internal teams
Oversee underwriting and investment committee processes
Construct diversified portfolios aligned with investor expectations and risk-return objectives
Lead performance monitoring, asset optimization, value creation, refinancing, and dispositions
Recruit, mentor, and scale teams across acquisitions, underwriting, research, and asset management
Implement best practices, systems, and tools for efficiency and accuracy
Partner with Product, Finance, Legal, and Engineering to launch equity and credit investment products
Identify new geographies, partnerships, and asset classes
Maintain asset management models, performance tracking, and continuous improvement processes
Build processes supporting trust, accuracy, and transparency across investment operations
Share insights with investor-facing teams and create regular information-sharing systems
Serve as an external thought leader and contribute market insights and educational content

Requirements

What you’ll need

15+ years of real estate investment experience, with exposure to both equity and credit strategies
Proven track record in acquisitions and asset management
Proven track record in underwriting and financial modeling
Proven track record in portfolio construction at scale
Proven track record in structuring debt and equity investment products
Deep understanding of risk/reward tradeoffs and a demonstrated track record of positive performance
Proven success leading and developing investments teams
Experience at an institutional real estate firm, private equity fund, REIT, real estate asset manager, or residential real estate credit fund
Familiarity with real estate capital markets, lending, and financing structures
Strong leadership experience building and scaling high-performing investment teams
Exceptional communication skills capable of distilling complex financial concepts for investors and internal teams
Bias for action, comfort operating with ambiguity, and excitement for building something new
