About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide HR reporting support, including research, analysis of business requests, problem solving, issue tracking, and resolution.
  • Design, support, and coordinate development of business-relevant analytics and processes.
  • Maintain data confidentiality according to established security and confidentiality standards.
  • Translate requirements into dashboards and reports that enable information sharing across the client enterprise.
  • Provide reporting support for ad hoc projects and requests.
  • Select and evaluate data to address and track business issues.
  • Consult with functional teams on metrics selection, application, and implementation.
  • Apply analytical and research skills to monitor trends and elevate issues.
  • Promote self-service reporting functionality with end users.
  • Monitor reporting usage logs and recommend consolidation where possible.
  • Ensure HRIS data integrity through audit reports; troubleshoot irregularities and partner with HRIS to correct discrepancies and ensure compliance.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce cycle times and increase reporting efficiencies.
  • Stay current on technology, approaches, and best practices in business analytics.
  • Serve as a key contact for non-routine HR systems and data questions and requests.
  • Collaborate with HR/HRIS teams to ensure consistent system usage across regions.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Typically requires a 4 year degree and 2–4 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience developing and delivering HR reports, dashboards, and business analytics.
  • Strong understanding of HR systems and HR data, including data integrity, audits, troubleshooting, and discrepancy resolution.
  • Ability to research business questions, determine appropriate data, identify trends, and translate findings into actionable insights.
  • Experience translating business requirements into effective dashboards, reports, and self-service reporting tools.
  • Ability to work with HR and functional teams to define reporting needs, select meaningful metrics, and implement analytics solutions.
  • Experience handling sensitive HR data and maintaining data accuracy, security, and compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve reporting processes, increase efficiency, reduce cycle times, and identify opportunities for automation/consolidation.
  • Experience partnering with HRIS, HR, and other business teams, ideally across multiple regions.
