About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and/or port Board Support Packages, device drivers, and boot loaders
- Derive firmware/software solutions from hardware schematics and component datasheets
- Work with Linux kernel programming, internals, and device drivers
- Work with embedded microprocessors based on Qualcomm, TI, NXP, NVIDIA, Intel, or similar platforms
- Use hardware and software development tools for engineering and debugging
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong knowledge of Linux device drivers, Linux Kernel Programming, Linux Kernel Internals, and Yocto / Buildroot or other build systems
- Experience with development tools including oscilloscope, protocol analyser, emulator, signal generator, JTAG programmer, GIT, SVN, and JIRA
- Experience working with embedded microprocessors based on Qualcomm, TI, NXP, NVIDIA, Intel, or similar platforms
- Experience in Board Support Package, device driver, and boot loader development/porting
- Understanding of hardware schematics and component datasheets to derive firmware/software-specific solutions
- Strong sense of ownership; passion, fast learning ability, analytical mindset, and attention to perfection
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
