About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and develop mechanical equipment for mass-production lines.
  • Translate engineering concepts into practical, manufacturable solutions.
  • Create and maintain engineering documentation, including ECOs, process validations, work instructions, routing cards, and equipment files.
  • Review production processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement design and manufacturing optimizations.
  • Develop creative solutions to complex engineering and production challenges using a variety of in-house technologies.
  • Work closely with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and other cross-functional teams to ensure product performance, quality, and on-time delivery.
  • Take an active, hands-on role from design and prototyping through validation and production.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering – Required.
  • 3+ years of experience in mechanical design, including strong SolidWorks skills and experience working with subcontractors – Required.
  • 2+ years of experience in the medical device industry – Required.
  • 2+ years of experience with validations and production documentation, including work instructions, routing cards, and ECOs.
  • Strong hands-on approach and a passion for turning ideas into working solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and creative thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently while being a strong team player.
  • Proactive, accountable, and detail-oriented approach.
  • Fluent English, both written and verbal.
