About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze the existing IBM QRadar environment and inventory of log sources
- Identify dependencies, prerequisites, and any coverage gaps
- Participate in knowledge transfers between the teams involved in the migration
- Deploy and configure components of the new Elastic architecture
- Onboard data sources
- Validate data collection, parsing, normalization, and ECS mapping
- Implement the necessary filters and optimize ingestion flows
- Diagnose and resolve incidents or technical blockers related to integrations
- Participate in testing, cutover, and production deployment
- Contribute to final validations ahead of the Go-Live planned for late November 2026
- Participate in startup support and hypercare
Requirements
What you’ll need- Senior Cybersecurity / SOC Consultant with strong technical and operational expertise
- Excellent command of Elastic Security
- Significant experience with Elasticsearch, Elastic Fleet, and Elastic Agents
- Experience with data-source onboarding projects in a SIEM
- Proficiency in collection, parsing, normalization, ECS mapping, and flow optimization
- Good knowledge of IBM QRadar architecture, its collection mechanisms, log sources, and DSM concepts
- Ability to assess existing monitoring coverage and identify gaps during a migration
- Comfortable working in SOC / MSSP / Managed SOC environments
- Experience working in complex enterprise environments
- Hands-on experience migrating from QRadar to Elastic Security is a plus
