Key responsibilities & impact

Administer and maintain databases in operational condition
Handle incidents, problems, and technical requests
Participate in infrastructure implementation and evolution projects
Anticipate capacity, performance, and availability requirements
Participate in business continuity arrangements and resilience testing
Carry out deployments required for technical and business projects
Document configurations and write procedures for support teams
Collaborate with Study, Infrastructure, Operations, and Security teams
Contribute to technical support and continuous improvement
Participate in one-week on-call rotations according to the team schedule

Requirements

What you’ll need

6 to 9 years of experience, ideally in DBA roles
Proven expertise in Oracle and SQL Server is required
Experience with or strong knowledge of MySQL preferred
Experience in demanding production environments, ideally supporting large enterprise clients
Strong understanding of RUN operations, performance, availability, and resilience
Ability to work on operations-related topics and infrastructure evolution projects
Professional English required
Availability for one-week on-call rotations
Independent contractor / freelance status
