About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the CRM and Product Marketing strategy, focusing on Asaas’s customer base
  • Own the integrated view of the customer journey: activation, usage, expansion, and retention
  • Lead product distribution to the customer base, presenting the right product to the right customer at the right time and through the right channel
  • Analyze behavior, usage, engagement, product interactions, and relationship history to inform decision-making
  • Define, test, and evolve the Next Best Offer (NBO) logic
  • Own integrations and new distribution channels
  • Identify bottlenecks, opportunities, and friction points throughout the customer lifecycle
  • Accelerate onboarding and reduce the time to value for new products
  • Structure and scale CRM and Lifecycle Marketing, including segmentation, automation, personalized journeys, and contextual communications
  • Develop and track cross-sell, upsell, activation, adoption, and retention initiatives with Sales and Customer Success
  • Define, monitor, and improve metrics such as cohorts, activation, adoption, product penetration, expansion, churn, retention, LTV, and incremental revenue
  • Work with Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Data, and Engineering to create scalable experiences and initiatives
  • Consolidate results, learnings, and recommendations for leadership
  • Maximize the value generated by every customer in the Asaas customer base

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Previous experience in growth-in-base, lifecycle, CRM, retention, or cross-sell/upsell at digital product, SaaS, banking, or marketplace companies
  • Ability to analyze cohorts, usage behavior, LTV, churn, and recurring revenue models
  • Experience structuring data-driven Next Best Offer/product recommendation logic
  • Proficiency with CRM/marketing automation tools and integrations across systems and channels, such as apps, email, push notifications, partners, and APIs
  • Strategic perspective to connect customer behavior, product positioning, and business results
  • Hands-on, data-driven, and results-oriented profile, with strong prioritization skills
  • Leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Preferred: previous experience leading lifecycle/growth-in-base teams or squads
  • Preferred: experience with recommendation/personalization models, such as Next Best Offer and Next Best Action
  • Preferred: experience leading the launch of new distribution channels and technical integrations, such as partner integrations and APIs
  • Preferred: experience in high-growth environments or products serving multiple customer segments
  • 8-hour workday, Monday through Friday
  • Employment under Brazil’s CLT labor regime
