About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the technical leader for SRE
  • Own the reliability of AWS infrastructure environments
  • Escalate and coordinate incidents during overnight periods, weekends, and holidays
  • Write, structure, and maintain runbooks and contingency procedures
  • Lead post-incident reviews and track the implementation of corrective actions
  • Support the DevOps team with high-risk changes and rollback procedures
  • Improve observability, alerting, and environment capacity processes
  • Participate in on-call and standby rotations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience with Kubernetes production environments, including EKS, kubectl, and pod and cluster analysis
  • Knowledge of Ingress and Egress, network rules, and connectivity troubleshooting
  • Experience with Argo CD and Bitbucket
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL, including performance analysis
  • Experience with AWS services, including EC2, VPC, Security Groups, Load Balancers, S3, and RDS
  • Advanced knowledge of Linux operating systems
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Graduate degree
