About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide counseling and therapy treatment remotely through telemedicine to patients throughout Oregon
- Deliver evidence-based individual and group therapy, including CBT, DBT, solution-focused therapy, psychoeducation, trauma therapy, addiction therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and bereavement/grief counseling
- Engage patients in their treatment plans
- Review and sign clinical psychosocial assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and consents
- Maintain clinic records and document services in compliance with clinical, contractual, regulatory, and legal standards
- Conduct crisis intervention for individuals and families based on safety plans
- Participate in case planning with the multidisciplinary team to determine appropriate patient disposition
- Participate in individual and group supervision, ongoing education, in-services, and training
- Provide case management services supporting recovery and community reintegration
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active, unrestricted mental health license in state of primary residence and state of medical services being provided
- Clinician must be active or willing to obtain an Oregon License
- Comfortable working in a remote environment
- Willingness to work primarily with pediatric patients
- Access to a quiet, dedicated workspace free from distractions with reliable internet connectivity
- Ability to sit for extended periods during working hours
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for using a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment
- Adequate vision for reading computer screens and documents
- Clear verbal and written communication skills for virtual meetings and correspondence
- Sufficient hearing ability for participating in phone calls or virtual meetings
- Background check and drug screening required as a contingency to employment
