About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide supervisory oversight to nurse practitioners and physician assistants in an outpatient clinic setting
- Ensure quality of care and adherence to established treatment protocols and state regulations for children, adolescents, and adult patients
- Be available for case reviews as necessary
- Meet with the team once per month
- Provide supervision remotely for Ascend Healthcare’s psychiatric and behavioral health service lines
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active, unrestricted Nevada MD or DO license in good standing
- Must be board-certified
- Ability to provide supervision remotely
- Previous experience in general psychiatry preferred
- Ability to sit for extended periods during working hours
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for using a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment
- Adequate vision for reading computer screens and documents
- Clear verbal and written communication skills for virtual meetings and correspondence
- Sufficient hearing ability for participating in phone calls or virtual meetings
- Access to a quiet, dedicated workspace free from distractions with reliable internet connectivity
- Must be able to allocate a minimum of 12 hours per month for scheduled meetings and as-needed case reviews
- Comprehensive background checks and drug screenings are required as a contingency to gaining employment status
