About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build, optimize, baseline, and maintain complex Primavera P6 schedules aligned to program WBS
  • Analyze schedules for critical path, risk, resource needs, discrepancies, and performance metrics
  • Support weekly IMS status meetings, dashboard updates, and reporting
  • Create and assess schedule change requests following Decennial Change Management Plan
  • Identify activities not meeting GAO criteria and provide corrective actions
  • Produce documentation, procedures, schedule reports, and responses to executive inquiries
  • Support extraction of project data, dashboard creation, and schedule analytics
  • Assist with testing of schedule system tools and enhancements
  • Provide guidance to junior schedulers and contribute to schedule process documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10 years of experience developing complex Primavera schedules aligned with GAO best practices
  • Ability to analyze interdependencies across operations and systems
  • Strong experience writing process documentation and procedures
  • Experience delivering weekly schedule reporting and responding to management inquiries
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • U.S. Citizen required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Census Bureau suitability/background clearance
