Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of experience as a Java Backend Developer in software development
Proficiency in Java and Spring
Experience with Java 17 or later
Experience writing unit and integration tests
Structured, quality-focused approach to work, with clean code, clear documentation, and best practices
Willingness to take responsibility and make decisions
Open, team-oriented working style
Basic understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, or a strong interest in developing further in this area
German language skills at least at B2 level
Knowledge of DevOps tools and principles, or willingness to develop further in this area
Professional experience using JPA/Hibernate in production
Proficiency with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL
Experience with Kafka or event-streaming architectures
Experience working in agile software teams, such as Scrum or Kanban
