Further develop the strategic direction of the technical organization
Align engineering capabilities with the company’s strategic objectives
Strengthen and develop internal software development, architecture, cloud, and DevOps communities
Establish technical standards and best practices for quality, scalability, and sustainable software development
Create an environment that fosters responsibility, learning, and growth among technical employees
Identify technology trends early and translate them into tangible value for the organization and its customers
Work closely with management and technical experts
Ensure a balance between technical excellence, customer value, and commercial viability

Requirements

What you’ll need

Broad technical expertise and an in-depth understanding of architecture, quality, and technology decisions
Proven experience successfully leading technical teams or managers through growth and change
Ability to bring together diverse interests and align organizations around common goals
Clear communication and strong decision-making skills, including in challenging situations
A leadership approach focused on empowerment, personal responsibility, and ownership
Simultaneous focus on customer value, technical quality, and commercial viability
Ideally, experience with the requirements of an IT consultancy or a project-based software development environment
Excellent written and spoken German (at least C1 level)
