Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of experience as a Java Backend Developer in software development
Proficiency in Java and Spring
Experience with Java 17 or later
Experience writing unit and integration tests
Structured, quality-focused approach to work
Knowledge of clean code, clear documentation, and best practices
Willingness to take responsibility and make decisions
Open, team-oriented approach to work
Basic understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, or a strong interest in developing further in this area
German language skills at least at B2 level
DevOps tools and principles are a plus, or willingness to develop further in this area
Experience using JPA/Hibernate in production is a plus
Proficiency with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL, is a plus
Experience with Kafka or event-streaming architectures is a plus
Experience working in agile software teams (Scrum/Kanban) is a plus
