About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Produce accurate CAD drawings for interior design and millwork projects
Translate specifications, dimensions, appliance details and project information into architectural drawings
Develop first-pass drawings based on the architect's direction
Revise and amend drawings based on feedback
Ensure drawings are precise, consistent and aligned with specifications
Manage assigned drafting work within agreed timeframes
Liaise with the architect to clarify specifications, discuss revisions and ensure drawings meet project requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need

Previous experience in architectural drafting or a similar technical drawing role
Strong proficiency in CAD software
Experience producing architectural drawings for interior projects
Good understanding of architectural dimensions, specifications and technical drawings
Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
Ability to interpret project briefs and translate them into accurate drawings
Ability to work independently while following direction and incorporating feedback
Strong time management skills and ability to meet agreed deadlines
Clear communication skills and willingness to ask questions when clarification is needed
