About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide administrative and relationship support to the Commercial Banking team through the loan closing and relationship management process
  • Complete loan preparation, review, documentation and funding, and provide deposit support
  • Assist Relationship Managers and Portfolio Managers with monitoring and managing the ongoing life of loan portfolios
  • Handle clients' financial reporting and review reporting for proper entries in bank systems
  • Work with team members to resolve potential issues
  • Ensure adherence to standards and regulatory requirements
  • Work directly with business customers, outside counsel and business partners to address needs, solve problems and provide customer service
  • Coordinate all aspects of required loan documentation and due diligence for loan closings
  • Review loan documents for accuracy, close loans with clients and coordinate with Commercial Loan Services and outside counsel
  • Maintain client portfolios and process daily transactions based on customer requests
  • Analyze collateral and financial reports and validate discrepancies with clients
  • Collect past-due financial and legal documentation and maintain accurate portfolio reporting
  • Provide customer support for fraud, overdrafts, wire issues and other service requests
  • Liaise between operations/support departments, Commercial Banking teams and customers
  • Provide backup support to team members and contribute to projects, training and process improvements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Business
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Finance
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Accounting
  • 2-4 years of banking or office experience with knowledge of banking products, services, procedures and practices, along with loan documentation knowledge
  • Knowledge of loan documentation, monitoring and closing related to Commercial Banking preferred
  • Experience with Ambit Commercial Lending System, CoreBank, SalesPro and Stucky preferred
  • Must directly represent yourself and your own experiences during the recruiting and hiring process
  • Must undergo a thorough background check
  • Must comply with applicable enterprise policies, procedures, laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act
  • Responsible for reporting suspicious activity, customer complaints, procedure violations and ethical concerns as required
