About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Participate in structured corporate internship programming, including orientation, workshops, networking events, research projects, and professional development activities
  • Assist Internal Audit with audit fieldwork across a variety of business areas
  • Perform Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and internal control testing
  • Document testing procedures, results, and supporting information for audit conclusions
  • Collaborate with Audit Managers, auditors, Internal Audit leadership, and business partners on audit engagements
  • Participate in meetings, training sessions, and team discussions covering audit processes, risks, controls, compliance, and operational effectiveness
  • Contribute to audit engagements while developing communication, critical thinking, and attention-to-detail skills
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and confidentiality guidelines
  • Complete additional duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree student with sophomore, junior, or senior standing at the time of internship start date
  • Must not have graduated prior to internship start date
  • Excel skills preferred
  • AI knowledge preferred
  • Critical thinking preferred
  • Must complete a thorough background check
  • Must comply with company policies, procedures, confidentiality guidelines, applicable laws and regulations, and Bank Secrecy Act requirements
