About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Participate in structured corporate internship programming, including orientation, workshops, networking events, research projects, and professional development activities
  • Assist in developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions used by Finance stakeholders
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities supporting business decision-making
  • Validate reporting data for accuracy, consistency, and reliability across reports and reporting processes
  • Create data visualizations and reporting materials communicating financial and operational performance metrics
  • Collaborate with FP&A team members and business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and enhance analytics and reporting solutions
  • Support administration and continuous improvement of financial planning, reporting systems, and business intelligence tools
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and confidentiality guidelines
  • Complete additional duties as assigned
  • Report suspicious activity to Financial Intelligence
  • Report customer complaints and procedure violations to management or HR
  • Report ethical concerns through Associated Bank’s anonymous Ethics Hotline

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree student with sophomore, junior, or senior standing at the time of internship start date
  • Must not have graduated prior to internship start date
  • Experience with Power BI, including dashboard development and data visualization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with reporting, business intelligence, or data analytics projects
  • Exposure to SQL or data querying tools
  • Must directly represent yourself and your own experiences during the recruiting and hiring process
  • Successful completion of a thorough background check
  • Compliance with company policies, procedures, confidentiality guidelines, applicable laws and regulations, and Bank Secrecy Act requirements
