About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Complete Associated Bank’s five-month Credit Analyst Program combining hands-on experience, dedicated training, projects, and learning opportunities
- Serve as an analytical support resource across the Commercial Real Estate team
- Assist with annual reviews, cash flow analysis, credit presentations, financial analysis, and portfolio management projects
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers, Portfolio Managers, mentors, and leaders across multiple CRE markets
- Learn Associated's credit approach, underwriting process, and financial data spreading and analysis
- Begin analyzing and underwriting existing and new credit transactions to help monitor and manage a loan portfolio
- Learn Associated's lending cycle and banking products
- Help companies analyze capital structures and financial needs and develop and recommend financial solutions
- Understand Associated's value proposition and relationship banking
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Successful internship experience with other banks or financial institutions
- Demonstrated customer service and relationship-building skills
- Experience with or exposure to financial and credit analysis concepts
- Financial analysis and cash flow analysis experience
- Credit analysis skills
- Strong analytical thinking
- Associated Bank conducts a thorough background check on all new hires

- Must report suspicious activity, customer complaints, procedure violations, and ethical concerns as required
