About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the growth and management of Corporate Banking relationships through underwriting, credit analysis, portfolio management, and client engagement
  • Manage a portfolio of Corporate Banking relationships in compliance with credit policy, business strategy, and regulatory guidelines
  • Analyze financial statements, evaluate loan requests, and recommend credit structures and solutions
  • Partner with Relationship Managers to strengthen client relationships and deliver a seamless banking experience
  • Monitor portfolio performance, repayment activity, and financial condition to identify and manage risk
  • Identify opportunities to expand client relationships through referrals to Treasury Management, Wealth Management, Capital Markets, and other banking solutions
  • Conduct due diligence and prepare credit recommendations for new and existing client opportunities
  • Present credit requests and recommendations through the bank's loan approval process
  • Support portfolio growth by maintaining loans, deposits, fee income, and client retention objectives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 4+ years of Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking, Commercial Real Estate Banking, Specialized Banking, or Credit Approval experience
  • 4+ years of experience analyzing and managing complex credit relationships
  • Reliable transportation and ability to lawfully drive, if applicable
  • Preferred: 2+ years of sales or business development experience
  • Preferred: 2+ years of formal credit training
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation preferred
  • Ability to directly represent yourself and your own experiences during the recruiting and hiring process
  • Successful completion of a thorough background check for new hires
  • Compliance with applicable enterprise policies, procedures, laws, and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act
  • Reporting suspicious activity, customer complaints, procedural violations, and ethical concerns as required
