About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Supervise and coordinate day-to-day operational activities
  • Lead, motivate and develop operational employees on shift
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental procedures
  • Allocate resources effectively to meet operational requirements
  • Monitor performance and productivity, addressing issues as they arise
  • Complete operational reports and maintain accurate records
  • Support training, coaching and competency development of team members
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operational delivery
  • Act as a key point of contact during shifts and respond to operational challenges
  • Promote a positive team culture and ensure operational targets are achieved

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Previous supervisory experience within an operational, logistics, manufacturing, port, marine or industrial environment
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Commitment to maintaining high safety standards
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • Ability to make decisions under pressure and prioritise workloads effectively
  • Experience coordinating teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Competent IT and administrative skills
  • Available to work up to 12-hour shifts on a 5-on, 3-off, 8-day rotation
  • Successful candidates must undergo pre-employment BPSS screening
  • Consent to random substance-abuse screening and a pre-employment medical is required
