About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead technical design discussions and contribute to architectural and implementation decisions
Design, develop, maintain, and optimize web applications using Vue.js, PrimeViu, JavaScript, PHP, and Symfony
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to software developers and QA engineers
Establish and promote engineering best practices, coding standards, and maintainable development processes
Conduct code reviews and ensure consistent code quality
Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements, evaluate solutions, and identify implementation risks
Partner with QA to improve testing strategies and software quality
Lead the adoption of AI in software development and testing
Balance hands-on development with technical leadership and team coordination
Develop strategic consulting, technology services, and business process outsourcing software solutions for AssureSoft’s clients

Requirements

What you’ll need

Extensive professional software development experience, including demonstrated technical leadership
Strong hands-on experience with Vue.js, PrimeViu, or comparable component-based JavaScript frameworks
Solid backend development experience with PHP and Symfony
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and modern web application development
Experience with relational databases, particularly MySQL
Strong understanding of software architecture, REST APIs, and system integrations
Experience designing and maintaining scalable, reliable, and maintainable applications
Proficiency with Git, collaborative development workflows, and code reviews
Proven experience mentoring engineers and providing technical direction
Strong debugging, analytical thinking, and complex problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication, collaboration, and technical decision-making skills
Knowledge of automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software delivery practices
Ability to lead AI adoption in software development and testing
Nice to have: Experience with Python and AWS services, including ECS, S3, Lambda, and DynamoDB
Nice to have: Familiarity with GitHub Actions, cloud deployments, Docker, application security, and performance optimization
