About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, document, and execute comprehensive test cases and scenarios for web applications
Perform functional, integration, regression, exploratory, and end-to-end testing
Develop and maintain automated test cases to improve testing efficiency, consistency, and coverage
Validate front-end components, user interactions, APIs, and backend functionality
Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to understand requirements, define acceptance criteria, and identify quality risks
Identify, document, track, and verify software defects throughout the development lifecycle
Perform API testing and validate data integrity across system integrations
Contribute to test strategy definition, test coverage analysis, and QA process improvements
Collaborate with software engineers to identify root causes and prevent recurring defects
Support regression testing and release validation activities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Solid professional experience in software quality assurance, including testing complex web applications
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing techniques, and the software development lifecycle
Hands-on experience with functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and end-to-end testing
Experience developing and maintaining automated test cases
Hands-on experience with web automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium
Experience designing test cases, documenting defects, and managing test execution
Experience validating front-end functionality, APIs, and backend integrations
Working knowledge of SQL and database validation techniques
Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development workflows
Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication and collaboration with development teams
Hands-on experience using AI-assisted testing tools
Experience with performance, accessibility, or security testing (Nice to Have)
Familiarity with Docker, cloud-based testing environments, and QA process improvements within small development teams (Nice to Have)
