About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work on different projects helping Astrafy customers get the most out of their data
Work on both the business and technical sides of customer use cases
Progressively assume Team Leader responsibilities for a squad of 5 team members
Mentor team members, foster technical growth, and ensure high-quality project delivery
Design and maintain scalable data pipelines using Airflow, dbt, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and Google Cloud/Open Source tools
Develop and optimize data infrastructure in Google Cloud for performance, cost, and security
Use Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning and manage containerized workloads
Implement data governance, security, and quality measures across the data lifecycle
Refine data architecture to support changing business needs and increased data volume and complexity
Research, evaluate, and recommend emerging data technologies and industry best practices
Champion innovation, learning, testing, and initiative-taking

Requirements

What you’ll need

Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with modern data stack tools such as Airflow, dbt, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and Google Cloud/Open Source tools, or similar
Experience with scalable data pipelines and data infrastructure
Experience with Google Cloud environment
Experience using Terraform for infrastructure provisioning
Experience managing containerized workloads
Knowledge of data governance, security, and quality measures
Motivation or proven capability to step into a leadership position
Ability to progressively take charge of mentoring, guiding, and supporting 5 team members
Curiosity and passion for emerging data technologies, practices, and frameworks
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional environments
Fluent English
Fluent Spanish
Working knowledge of French is a plus
Motivation to learn, take ownership, and contribute to a supportive team
