About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support operational projects across Las Vegas clinics, including project planning, coordination, tracking, follow-up, and status reporting
  • Maintain project trackers, dashboards, worklists, and reporting tools to monitor operational performance, deliverables, deadlines, and outreach activity
  • Assist with workflow reviews, process improvement initiatives, standard operating procedures, and implementation of new operational processes
  • Compile, organize, and validate data from approved systems for leadership reporting and operational decision-making
  • Coordinate with clinic managers, providers, medical assistants, front office staff, and corporate partners on assigned initiatives
  • Support cross-functional projects improving clinic efficiency, member experience, and operational performance
  • Perform outbound member outreach for empanelment initiatives, Annual Wellness Visit scheduling, preventive care efforts, and approved quality campaigns
  • Use EHRs and scheduling systems to identify appointment availability, coordinate scheduling, and document outreach
  • Support PCP assignment and empanelment workflows; review member lists, identify attribution or scheduling needs, and escalate issues
  • Maintain documentation of outreach activities, scheduling outcomes, and member engagement efforts
  • Report on contact rates, appointments scheduled, unresolved issues, and barriers to care
  • Support member access, engagement, and continuity of care initiatives
  • Support clinical teams with non-clinical coordination activities, work queues, patient lists, records requests, scheduling, and internal handoffs
  • Escalate issues requiring clinical review or leadership intervention
  • Support Network Growth initiatives during AEP, OEP, SEP, and other membership growth activities
  • Assist with member outreach campaigns, PCP alignment, appointment capacity tracking, clinic access reviews, and operational readiness
  • Collaborate with Operations and Network Growth teams on newly attributed and newly enrolled members
  • Identify and communicate access barriers, scheduling constraints, and operational challenges affecting onboarding and retention
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation; ensure compliance with organizational policies, HIPAA, and applicable healthcare regulations
  • Participate in team meetings, training activities, and assigned operational initiatives
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, Health Sciences, or a related field preferred
  • Current students and recent graduates with relevant coursework or internship experience may be considered
  • Prior internship, administrative, customer service, healthcare operations, project coordination, care coordination, or similar experience preferred
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHRs), scheduling systems, healthcare worklists, or member/patient outreach activities preferred
  • Exposure to Medicare Advantage, value-based care, quality improvement, medical group operations, provider networks, or managed care environments preferred
  • Experience coordinating projects, tracking deliverables, and supporting operational initiatives is a plus
  • No certifications required
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, worklists, projects, and deadlines
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including professional member and patient communication
  • Ability to navigate technology platforms, electronic health records, scheduling systems, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office applications
  • Working knowledge of healthcare operations, quality programs, member engagement strategies, and clinic workflows preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate documentation and reporting
  • Ability to analyze operational information, identify trends, and escalate concerns appropriately
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams and departments
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to supporting operational success
  • High degree of professionalism, accountability, integrity, and confidentiality
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional member experiences and supporting organizational objectives
  • Experience supporting healthcare operations, clinic operations, care coordination, network management, or member services programs preferred
  • Experience working in a value-based care, Medicare Advantage, managed care, medical group, IPA, or health plan environment preferred
  • Experience conducting outreach, scheduling appointments, or supporting member engagement initiatives preferred
  • Experience utilizing reporting tools, dashboards, spreadsheets, or operational tracking systems preferred
  • Experience supporting cross-functional projects and operational improvement initiatives preferred
