About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support Information Security Governance activities, contributing to the organization and monitoring of the department’s processes
- Support the monitoring of risks, internal controls, and action plans related to Information Security
- Assist with preparing, updating, and organizing Information Security policies, standards, procedures, and documentation
- Support internal and external audit processes by organizing evidence and tracking requests
- Support the monitoring of Information Security indicators, KPIs, and other metrics
- Prepare and update reports, controls, and management presentations
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI
- Support the organization and management of documents, workflows, and controls using SharePoint
- Support analyses related to Information Security compliance, risks, and controls
- Interact with internal departments and vendors to gather information and follow up on Governance-related requests
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for Governance, Risk, and Compliance processes
- Assist in preparing materials and status reports to monitor the department’s activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Information Technology, Information Security, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
- Knowledge of Information Security, Governance, Risk, Compliance, or Auditing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, tables, and charts
- Proficiency in PowerPoint for preparing presentations
- Knowledge of Power BI for creating and updating reports and dashboards
- Knowledge of SharePoint is a plus
- Basic or intermediate knowledge of Information Security frameworks and standards, such as ISO 27001, ISO 27002, NIST, CIS, and Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD)
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency for reading and understanding documents
- English conversational skills are a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Organized, analytical, proactive, and detail-oriented profile
- Ability to work as part of a team and interact with different departments
- Interest in professional development in Governance and Information Security
- Certifications or courses related to Information Security, Governance, Risk, or Compliance are a plus
- Knowledge of COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS is a plus
- Experience with risk management, controls, or audit tools is a plus
- Previous experience in financial services, banking, insurance, or technology companies is a plus
- Knowledge of LGPD and privacy and data protection requirements is a plus
