About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist with daily and month-end reconciliations across cash, trust, ledger, and loan-book controls
- Support cash flow analysis, loan account monitoring, and investigation of reconciliation exceptions
- Assist with preparation and quality review of data supporting regulatory reporting obligations
- Assist with year-end procedures and control reviews, ensuring timely compliance and accuracy
- Gain ad hoc exposure across taxation, corporate finance, and FP&A
- Contribute to reviewing and improving existing checks and processes
- Assist with creating new tools and processes
- Report to the Finance Manager and contribute to financial controls supporting lending operations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Recently completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field
- Australian Citizenship or Australian Permanent Residency when you apply
- Intellectually curious, ambitious self-starter with a growth mindset
