About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop detailed and accurate scopes of work in Xactimate through onsite inspections, digital images, sketches, and documentation
  • Validate scopes with insurance adjusters, consultants, TPAs, and property owners/managers
  • Ensure projects follow building codes, industry standards, guidelines, and safety protocols
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to hand off jobs for production, create budgets, set schedules, and identify labor strategies
  • Resolve scope discrepancies and customer concerns and maintain project documentation
  • Serve as primary point of contact for customers, insurance companies, and referral partners
  • Secure repeat business and achieve assigned revenue targets by converting leads into active projects
  • Support sales teams through operational insights, client networking, trade events, and industry associations
  • Use Salesforce and maintain data integrity for leads, estimates, activities, project progress, and assignments
  • Establish payment terms, manage draws, deductibles, progress billing, final billing, and collections
  • Own project financial performance, including margins, budgets, and costs
  • Review supplements, change orders, and scope modifications for accuracy and profitability impacts
  • Respond to team members and clients beyond standard work hours for emergency response
  • Perform work in the office, field, and jobsites; travel is required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, construction management or related field preferred
  • 3-5 years restoration or construction experience
  • 2-3 years experience as an Estimator or Project Manager with experience in water, fire, mold or reconstruction
  • Experience handling commercial, industrial, or large-loss projects
  • Familiarity with mitigation, environmental services, reconstruction, and industry practices
  • Working knowledge of Xactimate
  • Preferred IICRC certifications
  • Preferred Xactimate certification
  • Preferred T&M Platforms certifications
  • Preferred OSHA/Environmental certifications
  • Reliable transportation for business purposes and suitable car insurance
  • Legally authorized to work in the US
  • Strong estimating, analytical, financial, budgeting, billing, collections, and relationship-management skills
