Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborate proactively with the project team throughout the development lifecycle
Help guide the team using software development experience
Ensure code quality and governance
Ensure engineers follow patterns and designs agreed with project leads
Plan, estimate, and contribute to architecture, coding, and development
Refactor codebases and drive continuous improvement
Communicate technical decisions and information thoroughly to the global team
Take responsibility for releases
Contribute to ongoing support of live applications
Participate in deployment and operation of software through DevOps activities

Requirements

What you’ll need

6+ years of strong FrontEnd/BackEnd development experience
3+ years of experience with Java and Spring
4+ years of experience with TypeScript and React
4+ years of experience with AWS Cloud development
3+ years of experience with CDK and CloudFormation
1+ years of experience with Bedrock, SageMaker, and PyTorch
Experience building scalable software services, such as serverless systems and microservices
Strong object-oriented design skills
Knowledge of design principles, patterns, and best practices
Experience working directly with clients and project stakeholders to define and refine requirements
Strong English skills, written and verbal
Must be located in Canada
Relocation support is not provided
Preferred: Vibe coding and Agentic Engineering experience
Preferred: Experience with DDD
Preferred: Experience with TDD
