About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Advising customers in the areas of Enterprise Linux, high-availability clusters, monitoring, and data center automation
- Independently managing customer projects, including planning and implementation
- Preparing technical documentation
- Supporting customers during the pre-sales phase in collaboration with the Sales team
- Presenting results to customers and at conferences
- Advising on and implementing Linux and open-source solutions for mid-sized and large enterprise customers across Europe
Requirements
What you’ll need- Advanced knowledge of Linux servers, including RHEL, SLES, and Debian
- Experience with Foreman and Katello
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible and Puppet
- Knowledge of Bash and Python
- Basic understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes
- Ability to tailor and present results to different target audiences
- Confident, self-assured, and friendly demeanor
- Ability to proactively identify tasks and complete them reliably
- Professional experience in the IT industry, preferably in a customer-facing role, is desirable
- Very good command of German and English, both written and spoken
