About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the technical delivery of façade engineering services on single-discipline and multidisciplinary projects
- Support and mentor junior team members
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Support business development activities
- Contribute to bid preparation and work-winning
- Engage with internal technical networks
- Promote façade engineering expertise across AtkinsRéalis
- Deliver façade engineering services across remedial surveys, inspections, and new-build developments up to £100m
- Liaise with clients and coordinate design teams
- Solve technical challenges proactively
Requirements
What you’ll need- Chartered Engineer or qualified Architect status preferred, or working towards professional qualification
- Experience in façade design and detailing, or on projects where façades have been a key component
- Ability to work independently in at least three of: structural analysis, thermal analysis, embodied carbon assessment, specification writing, concept design, glazing and curtain walling design, production of detailed drawings, façade condition surveys, forensic investigations
- Experience managing resources and budgets
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
- Collaborative, inquisitive mindset
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Role may require security clearance
- May require proof of residency in the UK for 5 years or longer
