About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and manage Electrical Engineering design deliverables for assigned projects
  • Conduct investigations, report writing, design, and construction administration
  • Support business development activities for the Electrical Engineering group in Saskatoon and Regina
  • Support the development, monitoring, and maintenance of project schedules and budgets
  • Ensure the quality, consistency, accuracy, and completeness of deliverables under the corporate QA/QC program
  • Perform safe site investigations and travel to project sites
  • Participate in local and corporate industry initiatives to advance technical capabilities and market development
  • Deliver electrical engineering projects for Utilities, Industrial, Commercial, Institutional, and Mining clients

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Registered as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with APEGS
  • 4-10 years of relevant Electrical Power Systems design experience
  • Experience with electrical single-line diagrams, fire alarm systems, switchgear, MCCs, building electrical designs, and relevant codes, standards, and design tools
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to develop solutions and communicate effectively with teammates, other disciplines, subcontractors, project managers, and clients
  • Willingness to grow a career in Buildings and Utilities Electrical Engineering
  • Ability to perform site investigations safely, travel to project sites, walk construction sites, carry approximately 35 lbs. of ladders or equipment, climb ladders, and inspect low-level mechanical services
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, EasyPower, SKM, ETAP, and Microsoft Office
