About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Gain hands-on experience, personalized mentorship, and exposure to diverse projects through the Odyssey Program
  • Work in mechanical engineering areas including design and manufacturing, building systems, energy, hydraulics and thermodynamics, hydropower, automation, and acoustics, air quality and climate change
  • Develop products, machines and equipment from design through production
  • Design mechanical building systems, HVAC, plumbing networks, heating, ventilation, and fire protection systems
  • Design energy systems such as motors, turbines, and heating and cooling systems
  • Support the design and delivery of mechanical systems for hydropower facilities
  • Design automated systems to improve process efficiency
  • Support air quality, emissions, noise, and vibration work under environmental assessments

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (graduating in 2027)
  • Excellent communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
