About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work closely with AtkinsRéalis professionals across transportation, tunnel, rail and transit, energy, cities and developments, and industrial sectors
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams and projects of all scales
- Execute major programs
- Support complex proposals
- Mentor junior staff
- Act as a technical reference
- Develop and expand infrastructure geotechnics capability and the team’s portfolio
- Lead and manage geotechnical projects according to approved scopes, budgets, schedules, reporting requirements and client agreements
- Build and maintain client relationships while identifying and pursuing business development and market growth opportunities
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years holding a P.Eng. license and practicing in Ontario
- Over 12+ years of strong Geotechnical Engineering experience
- Professional engineering designation (P.Eng.)
- Proven senior experience in tunnels, highways, rail, municipal roads and bridges
- Experience with the Ministry of Transportation in Ontario considered a strong asset
- Proven geotechnical design experience
- Excellent interpersonal and technical skills
- Ability to support the development of teams
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships and pursue business development and market growth opportunities
- Ability to lead and manage geotechnical projects according to scopes, budgets, schedules, reporting requirements and client agreements
