  • Provide technical leadership and oversight to ensure high-quality outputs meet time, cost and quality requirements
  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate inputs across AtkinsRéalis
  • Apply professional judgement to complex challenges and help clients navigate policy, regulatory and commercial landscapes
  • Manage project programmes, budgets and resources
  • Build trusted client relationships
  • Identify opportunities to deliver additional value through environmental and infrastructure capabilities
  • Contribute to and lead proposals and bids
  • Help grow the natural capital and environmental economics portfolio
  • Shape innovative approaches, methodologies and digital tools
  • Coach and mentor junior colleagues
  • Contribute to technical networks and capability development activities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in a relevant discipline, such as Environmental Economics, Environmental Science and Policy, Ecology or Geography
  • Preferably a relevant post-graduate qualification
  • Chartered status with a relevant professional body such as CIWEM, CIEEM, ISEP, IES or equivalent
  • Technical experience applying natural capital assessments, natural capital accounting and/or environmental economics techniques
  • Experience undertaking economic valuation and applying natural capital approaches to support decision-making
  • Experience in project management, bid development, technical leadership and mentoring junior colleagues
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt presentation style for different audiences, including non-specialists
  • Strong organisational skills and commercial awareness
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and to deadlines
  • Excellent collaborative working skills
  • Experience with emerging nature markets and green finance desirable
  • May require security clearance, including potentially providing proof of UK residency for 5 years or longer
