About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support refurbishment tooling design, manufacturing, testing, and delivery
  • Coordinate engineering and tooling activities
  • Track technical deliverables and maintain project schedules
  • Facilitate communication across engineering disciplines and project stakeholders
  • Identify, plan, coordinate, and support implementation of various work scopes
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Quality, vendors, and Refurbishment teams
  • Coordinate progress meetings, status updates, and planning and execution workshops
  • Support project cost forecasting, progress tracking, and performance metrics with the Project Manager
  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance to ensure project quality requirements are met
  • Liaise with engineering, quality, procurement, and tooling vendors
  • Maintain positive relationships with client project counterparts
  • Prepare status and progress reports for the Project Manager
  • Reinforce a strong nuclear safety culture
  • Track purchase orders, expedite vendor documentation, monitor status for month-end reporting, and communicate delays or issues to the Project Manager
  • Travel to various vendor locations as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering, or equivalent technical training and related experience
  • Experience supporting various types of projects, including manufacturing, considered an asset
  • Appreciation of Quality Assurance Programs and their significance to the nuclear industry considered an asset
  • Proficiency in project management tools
  • Ability to maintain accurate documentation and ensure consistent follow-through on assigned actions
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and customer relationship skills
  • Valid driver's license required
