About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide leadership for project teams by building and motivating team members to meet project goals and milestones
Own the full project life cycle from initiation through delivery
Manage multiple related projects and align programs with strategic business objectives
Ensure projects and programs meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards
Manage project expectations, deliverables, team members, and stakeholders
Develop progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
Prepare estimates and detailed project plans for all project phases
Manage day-to-day activities and resources and chair project management meetings
Report project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues to leadership
Monitor and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables
Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project and program teams
Research best practices, establish benchmark data, and use continuous improvement to achieve results
Support a diverse and inclusive work environment
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience preferred
Minimum of 10 years of experience in Utility Scale Power Projects
Minimum of 10 years' relevant project management experience in the Power industry
Minimum of 15 years' relevant/applicable industry experience
Technically competent with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), Microsoft Projects, and ProjectWise
Strong leadership, diplomatic, and motivational skills
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
Ability to build and maintain relationships with business leaders
Self-motivated and decisive, with ability to adapt to change and competing demands
Excellent leadership, written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills
