About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify, evaluate, and capture new business opportunities
  • Establish relationships with potential customers and partners
  • Inform customers and partners of products and services aligned with business needs
  • Participate in strategy development for Commercial Nuclear Services in the U.S.
  • Lead business development activities for the Commercial Nuclear market segment
  • Identify opportunities through customer and industry contacts
  • Report to the SVP of Business Development and assist with growth strategy
  • Build professional networks and customer relationships
  • Coordinate company resources in pursuit and capture of new work
  • Develop capture plans, competitive analyses, and business fundamentals
  • Identify teaming partners and develop teaming agreements
  • Gather market and customer intelligence
  • Participate in strategic planning with the leadership team
  • Own proposal content and manage proposal activities
  • Obtain required proposal approvals and handle proposal delivery
  • Interface with customers regarding requests and issues
  • Engage Contracts, Legal, Procurement, technical experts, and Operations personnel
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree required in engineering or a relevant scientific discipline
  • Minimum of 15 years in the nuclear market
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience working with or at Nuclear Utilities
  • Extensive experience interfacing with executives at utilities
  • Knowledge and experience with Nuclear utility buying process
  • Strong network of relationships across nuclear industry
  • Knowledge of commercial Nuclear Power Plant Operations
  • Knowledge of current commercial nuclear power issues and business drivers
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Advanced presentation skills
  • Must be a U.S. citizen in order to be considered
