About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Monitor, review, and organize issued and received electronic service invoices (NFS-e), validating amounts, dates, customers, service providers, CNPJ numbers, registration details, and discrepancies between systems
  • Calculate and validate federal taxes, including IRPJ, CSLL, PIS, and COFINS
  • Issue, review, and monitor DARFs and their respective due dates
  • Review withholding taxes on received and issued invoices, including IRRF, CSLL, PIS, COFINS, and ISS
  • Prepare, review, and support the submission of ancillary tax obligations, such as SPED Fiscal, SPED Contributions, and DCTFWeb
  • Monitor tax clearance certificates, support internal and external audits, and provide tax documentation
  • Validate tax impacts on accounts payable, imported services, special tax regimes, and domestic or international payments
  • Support the preparation and maintenance of documentation related to transfer pricing and transactions between Brazil and foreign entities
  • Research applicable legislation, regulations, and interpretations in Brazil and other relevant markets
  • Collaborate on tax automation and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Accounting, Law, Business Administration, or a related field, with a focus on or relevant experience in taxation
  • Solid experience in tax operations, preferably in services, technology, or SaaS companies
  • Strong knowledge of tax calculations, withholding taxes, NFS-e, ancillary tax obligations, and tax routines for companies under Brazil’s Actual Profit (Lucro Real) regime
  • Proficiency in PIS/COFINS, IRPJ/CSLL, DARFs, SPED Fiscal, SPED Contributions, and high-volume tax data review
  • Excel skills for analysis, reconciliation, review, database organization, and discrepancy identification
  • Analytical ability, technical rigor, organization, and strong attention to deadlines
  • Strong communication skills for interaction with Controllership, Accounting, Treasury, audit firms, and partner teams
  • Interest in technology, automation, and the use of artificial intelligence applied to tax processes
  • Experience with transfer pricing and international tax legislation, particularly in LATAM and the United States
  • Knowledge of SAP Business One
  • Proficiency in English and/or Spanish
