About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the Precisely Evolve platform end to end, including workflows, forms, contribution and approval tasks, and Automate Studio scripts that write to SAP
- Build, maintain and version-control Automate scripts for material master data, plant extensions, BOMs, routings, purchasing info records, pricing and sales kits
- Mentor the existing Evolve resource and participate in knowledge transfer from the original architect
- Triage and resolve production data-load failures during hypercare and steady state
- Trace load errors to upstream MDM data, the integration layer, or SAP APIs and transactions
- Partner with SAP MM, PP and SD functional consultants and business super-users on field mappings, defaults and validation rules
- Support Evolve platform production operations and maintain reliable data-load execution
- Collaborate with the Precisely EnterWorks MDM team and webMethods integration team on export-to-load handoffs and file pickups
- Coordinate issue resolution across data, integration and SAP layers
- Enforce change control so production changes undergo review, testing and documentation
- Create and maintain architecture documentation, workflow catalogue, script inventory and operational runbooks
- Transfer knowledge and reduce dependency on the original platform architect
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years in SAP data management
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Precisely Evolve and Automate Studio, formerly Winshuttle Foundation and Studio
- Designed and built Evolve solutions as the lead or architect, with at least two full-cycle implementations
- Deep SAP S/4HANA material master knowledge, including views, plant and sales-organization extensions, units of measure, classification, BOMs, routings and purchasing info records
- Expertise in Automate Studio transaction and query scripts, Excel-based workflow forms, and debugging BAPI and transaction-recording errors
- Supported Evolve through at least one S/4HANA go-live and hypercare
- Experience with upstream MDM/PIM data feeds and middleware-driven integration, such as webMethods
- Disciplined approach to change control, versioning and documentation
- Clear communication with business users and ability to work independently in a multi-vendor environment
- Availability during US Eastern business hours, with weekend availability during load and testing windows
- US-based, in the Eastern or Central time zone
- Preferred: Hands-on Precisely EnterWorks or comparable MDM/PIM experience
- Preferred: Data migration from a legacy ERP such as Infor M3 to S/4HANA, including cutover extract loads
- Preferred: Experience with upstream PLM data sources such as Centric PLM and parent-child product structures
- Preferred: SAP variant configuration (AVC) material data in a make-to-order environment
- Preferred: Consumer products, apparel, footwear or sporting goods experience
- Preferred: Precisely or Winshuttle certification
