About the role

- Support Network Engineering efforts for the Future Capabilities program in PMW 110 Tactical Afloat Networking
Requirements
What you’ll need- U.S. Citizenship
- Possession of and ability to maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Level Security Clearance
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited university in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physical Science required
- Minimum of six (6) years’ experience supporting the engineering of Information Technology systems for a DoD or Government Agency
- 3+ years of experience developing technical documentation
- Experience with SDN/SD-WAN technologies and vendors including VMware, NSX-T, Cisco, Juniper, and open-source solutions
- Experience configuring L2/L3 switches, routers, security appliances, firewalls, NIDS, and NIPS
- Experience developing and documenting network topologies
- Experience troubleshooting and restoring network and system outages
- Experience with virtualization technologies
- Proven performance in client-facing roles requiring stakeholder engagement and relationship building across Navy programs, the DoD, or other federal agencies
- CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) certification or equivalent
- Passionate, flexible, and highly motivated team player
- Comfortable in intense, fast-paced environments
- Ability to think on your feet and excel in team-based collaborative efforts
