About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and configure Connected Systems and Integration Objects to consume PeopleSoft REST/SOAP web services
- Architect Custom Data Types and Record Types mapping to PeopleSoft Oracle database schemas
- Develop end-to-end process models triggering PeopleSoft actions such as employee onboarding, financial approvals, and procurement updates
- Create Appian Web APIs enabling PeopleSoft to push real-time data updates and event notifications into Appian
- Build SAIL forms and dashboards aggregating data from multiple systems
- Implement secure system authentication using OAuth 2.0, SAML, or certificate-based authentication
- Create process automation solutions bridging Appian and PeopleSoft ERP
- Collaborate with PeopleSoft technical teams to define service requirements
- Travel up to 10%
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Appian versions 24.x or higher
- Advanced SQL skills; PL/SQL preferred
- Expert knowledge of REST/SOAP, JSON, and XML
- U.S. Citizenship
- Must possess a Public Trust or Department of Defense (DOD) Clearance
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Level Security Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
- Appian Certified Senior Developer or Lead Developer certification required
- Security+ CE Certification or equivalent DoD 8570 baseline certification required
- Preferred: experience with Appian Data Fabric
- Preferred: Java or JavaScript experience for custom plugins
- Understanding of PeopleSoft Integration Broker and Component Interfaces
- Experience working with PeopleSoft technical teams to define service requirements
- Experience in a Center of Excellence or Agile/DevOps environment
- Eligible to reside in one of: Alabama, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, Washington, D.C., West Virginia, or New Jersey
