About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and implement complex process automation solutions bridging Appian and PeopleSoft ERP
Create an agility layer allowing users to interact with PeopleSoft data and workflows through Appian interfaces
Design and configure Connected Systems and Integration Objects for PeopleSoft REST/SOAP web services
Architect Custom Data Types and Record Types mapped to PeopleSoft Oracle database schemas
Develop end-to-end process models for employee onboarding, financial approvals, and procurement updates
Create Appian Web APIs for real-time PeopleSoft data updates and event notifications
Build SAIL forms and dashboards aggregating data from multiple systems
Implement secure system authentication using OAuth 2.0, SAML, or certificate-based authentication
Collaborate with PeopleSoft technical teams to define service requirements
Deliver secure, high-quality solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of hands-on experience with Appian versions 24.x or higher
Advanced SQL skills; PL/SQL preferred
Expert knowledge of REST/SOAP, JSON, and XML
U.S. citizenship
Must possess a Public Trust or Department of Defense (DOD) Clearance
Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Level Security Clearance
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
Appian Certified Senior Developer or Lead Developer certification required
Security+ CE Certification or equivalent DoD 8570 baseline certification required
Experience with Appian Data Fabric preferred
Background in Java or JavaScript preferred
Understanding of PeopleSoft Integration Broker and Component Interfaces
Experience working in a Center of Excellence (COE) or Agile/DevOps environment
Travel up to 10%
