About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and implement complex process automation solutions integrating Appian with PeopleSoft ERP
- Create an agility layer enabling users to interact with PeopleSoft data and workflows through Appian interfaces
- Design and configure Connected Systems and Integration Objects for PeopleSoft REST/SOAP web services
- Architect Custom Data Types and Record Types mapped to PeopleSoft Oracle database schemas
- Develop end-to-end process models for employee onboarding, financial approvals, and procurement updates
- Create Appian Web APIs for real-time PeopleSoft data updates and event notifications
- Build SAIL forms and dashboards aggregating data from multiple systems
- Implement OAuth 2.0, SAML, or certificate-based authentication
- Optimize Oracle database queries
- Collaborate with PeopleSoft technical teams to define service requirements
- Deliver secure, high-quality solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Appian versions 24.x or higher
- Advanced SQL skills; PL/SQL preferred
- Expert knowledge of REST/SOAP, JSON, and XML
- U.S. citizenship
- Must possess a Public Trust or Department of Defense (DOD) Clearance
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Level Security Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
- Appian Certified Senior Developer or Lead Developer certification required
- Security+ CE certification or equivalent DoD 8570 baseline certification required
- Experience with Appian Data Fabric preferred
- Background in Java or JavaScript preferred
- Understanding of PeopleSoft Integration Broker and Component Interfaces
- Experience working in a Center of Excellence (COE) or Agile/DevOps environment
- Travel up to 10%
