About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assemble, test, and calibrate methane detectors
  • Repair returned devices, including fault analysis
  • Maintain test fixtures, calibration setups, and work instructions
  • Ensure material availability through inventory monitoring, ordering, and checking lead times in the ERP system
  • Represent Production in design reviews and provide input for future device designs
  • Over time, take on responsibility for production planning, strategic purchasing, ATEX/explosion protection documentation, and customer visits for installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Practical, hands-on approach and enthusiasm for fault analysis
  • Commitment to robust, well-structured processes rather than quick fixes
  • Willingness to develop toward planning, purchasing, and greater responsibility
  • Degree or vocational training in electrical engineering, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or a related field
  • Practical experience in electronics assembly, soldering, or hardware testing
  • Confident using a multimeter, oscilloscope, and power supply
  • Structured, reliable documentation of test records, serial numbers, and revisions
  • Fluency in English and German
