About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage network platforms, firewalls, VPNs, policy-based routing, and load balancing
Act as an escalation point for technicians and resolve high-priority incidents according to ITIL best practices
Manage service requests according to change management procedures
Monitor, analyze, and resolve incidents for customer infrastructure in Azure
Install, configure, and administer customer systems in Azure
Communicate technical issues and solutions to clients
Develop, maintain, and provide training on standard operating procedures, best practices, customer runbooks, and automation processes
Deliver exceptional client service throughout the service lifecycle
Interface with other departments to provide client feedback and ensure client success
Configure monitoring and alerting for physical and virtual infrastructure
Manage and maintain physical and virtual components, including Atmosera's management stack
Perform quality assurance checks on migrated and greenfield environments
Manage Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure Site Recovery, disaster recovery, and multiple client environments with Azure Lighthouse
Ensure compliance with FedRAMP, IRS 1075, NIST-800, CSI Benchmarks, PCI-DSS, HIPAA/HITECH, SOC 1, SOC 2, and internal security practices
Manage and administer Windows and Linux servers
Configure and administer Hyper-V and VMware hypervisors
Participate in an on-call rotation for escalated support to meet SLAs
Implement infrastructure automation using PowerShell, Bicep, and CI/CD practices
Develop and maintain Bicep Infrastructure as Code templates for repeatable infrastructure deployments

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience in support administration, specifically with Azure Cloud
Experience with automation using scripting languages (PowerShell, Bicep) and CI/CD practices
Experience with network platforms and firewalls, including VPNs, policy management, load balancing, and policy-based routing
Demonstrated ability to configure and administer Azure Site Recovery and troubleshoot complex issues
Knowledge of ITIL best practices for incident and problem management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical information to clients
Strong analytical mind focused on root-cause analysis, knowledge development, and process creation
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred experience with Hyper-V and VMware hypervisors
AZ-104 certification highly preferred; must obtain within 90 days of employment or be subject to termination
