Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and enhance VoIP communication systems for emergency and radio dispatch solutions, handle L3 service requests, and resolve software defects
Work on native and web-based desktop applications for standard IT infrastructures
Handle tasks within an agile, AI-assisted development process in collaboration with the team
Provide third-level support in cooperation with customers, users, and suppliers
Collaborate with colleagues in Zurich, Basel, and Vevey

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed university degree or higher education in software development
At least 3 years of professional experience as a developer
Strong customer and service orientation
Analytical approach and ability to find solutions
Knowledge of Windows C++ and .NET or Java, as well as standard web frameworks
Knowledge of Windows, Linux, and high-availability clusters is an advantage
Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, as well as microservices, is an advantage
Knowledge of SQL databases and Galera high-availability clusters is an advantage
Knowledge of Python, PHP, and shell scripting is an advantage
Knowledge of VoIP using FreeSWITCH or Asterisk is an advantage
Knowledge of IP networks, DNS, NTP, DHCP, routing, firewalls, and virtualization with VMware or Proxmox is an advantage
Willingness to learn and openness to new applications, features, and AI technologies
Fluent German; English is the company language
Willingness to work extended office hours and participate in 24/7 on-call duty
Eligibility to undergo the PSP personnel security screening: Swiss citizenship or a C residence permit
